Hi, I’m Marco Cirillo — guitar player, ukulele enthusiast, and yes… someone who’s been through all the struggles of learning an instrument.

When I first picked up the guitar, I thought it would be easy. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. My fingers hurt, my chords buzzed, and half the time I wondered if I should just give up. But instead, I learned the secret that still guides me today: patience, practice, and a little bit of fun every day.

Over the years, I discovered that music isn’t about perfection — it’s about small, steady challenges that keep you curious and excited. Some days I pushed through tough exercises, other days I just played for the joy of it. That mix is what kept me growing, even when progress felt slow.

Now, as a guitar and ukulele teacher online, I get to share those same lessons with my students.
