OPFM was created for those who are willing to learn music. We focus on teaching you how to play guitar and ukulele every step of the way.  

Did you just unpack your first ukulele? Try "Ukulele in 10 Days!" In this course, you'll learn six chords, a melody, two strumming patterns, and a simple fingerpicking pattern.  

Are you new to fingerstyle ukulele? Try "7 Steps to Fingerstyle Ukulele" to learn the fundamentals of fingerpicking chords and melodies. 

There are plenty of courses you can choose from. We also allow our members to give us feedback on the type of lesson and topic they struggle with the most, and we always build lessons around those requests. After all, our goal is to help you become the musician you know you want to be. 

No! You don't have to learn everything! Music is huge! You don't want to overwhelm yourself.

Most of the time, you'll focus on learning the things that resonate with the style of music you like. Yes, there is music theory, chords, melodies, techniques, songwriting, and many other things you can learn. However, the best way to get started is to learn something that resonates with you; then, you take it from there.

This is why at OPFM, you will never see an endless, all-in-one, 15-hour course that covers everything. We don't believe in this approach. Instead, we focus on creating short courses that cover specific guitar and ukulele topics that you can digest in days or weeks. For example, Do you like the sound of Sus4 chords? Great! We have a masterclass that teaches you how to learn and implement the most popular sus4 chord shapes! You don't have to understand everything about music theory in order to learn sus4 chords. We believe that every music concept should be taught in the most practical and musical way possible.

As a member of Our Passion for Music, I want you to know we got your back! Until fifteen years ago, music was primarily taught with one-to-one/in-person lessons. It's absolutely normal to seek the guidance of a tutor. 

Due to the high number of students who enroll here at OPFM every month, scheduling one-to-one classes are practically impossible to handle.  

You have four different ways to get the support you need:

1. Your Interactive Membership.You can gain access to this feature by joining our OPFM INTERACTIVE Membership for $29.95 per month or $297 per year, or a LIFETIME ACCESS member for a one-time payment of $499. With this membership,, you'll have the opportunity to interact with Marco and other instructors through video sharing. For instance, if you encounter difficulties while trying to fingerpick a G major chord in our starter course "7 Days to Fingerstyle Ukulele," you can simply submit a video of yourself playing and ask for assistance. Our instructors will provide you with a personalized video response that not only addresses your question but also offers valuable practice tips.

2. Live Q&A/Group Coaching Call. Join our Live Q&A and Group Coaching Call in which we discuss specific music topics. The call ends with an extensive Q&A. The live calls are scheduled on one Saturdays of the month. You can check the upcoming Live Group Coaching Call Here! Marco and other OPFM teachers will host the live calls. The calls are recorded and uploaded inside the membership. Available at any memberhsip tier.

2. Our Private (Members-Only) community. We have two places. A private Facebook group and the built-in community tab are available inside your OPFM dashboard. This is your chance to ask questions and share your progress with other members, Marco, and other OPFM teachers. 

3. Monthly One-to-One Private Lesson Winner. Each month one of our OPFM students is gifted with a private lesson with Marco or one of the OPFM teachers. Even though this is not a guaranteed option, it's a chance we love to give. Of course, the lesson is recorded and uploaded inside the membership. You can win the private lesson by participating in our monthly ukulele and guitar challenge. More info here.  

4. OPFM support team. Any technical issue (login, billing, etc.), can be addressed immediately by our support team. Please, any questions about lessons, gear, and music programs should be forwarded to our Facebook group or the OPFM community tab. Our support team is not specialized in music and music gear. They are great at fixing any technical issue, though. 

Music was meant to be shared. It should connect people! So, when you try to learn an instrument but don't have a chance to share your amazing accomplishments with other fellow musicians, it can feel like there is almost no point in learning music at all, right? 

This is why at OPFM, we keep you accountable! With our monthly challenges, we give you three weeks to learn a piece of music that you'll perform in front of our amazing community (no pressure). The winner wins a private lesson with Marco or any other OPFM teacher. The monthly challenge is open to every member of OPFM.

You can learn everything about tabs, sheet music, interactive tabs, and how to use them by taking our mini-course "Everything Tabs." In this course, you'll learn how to read and interpret tabs. Also, we will touch on our Soundslice interactive player and how it will change your interaction with the video lesson and sheet music.

We understand that sheet music and tabs may not be your preferred way of learning music, that's why we offer step-by-step video lessons for every exercise and song in our repertoire. We provide all the tools you need to learn music and it's entirely up to you to choose the method that suits you best.

2. The OPFM Interactive Membership available at $29.99 or $297/year. This membership includes everything that comes with the OPFM All-in Pass, in addition to the benefit of interactive video sharing. This feature enables you to send us videos with your questions, and we will respond with a personalized video answer. We understand that our students may have changing needs and preferences when it comes to their online learning experience, and we want to make sure that they have the flexibility to choose the membership plan that suits them best. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to switch between the OPFM All in Pass and the OPFM Interactive Membership directly within the student's account.

However, we're always here to help and make the process as easy as possible for our students.
